Kevin Given, Senior Advisor & Partner

Kevin is one of the founding partners at Quail Valley which was established in 2001. Born in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia – home to the world-famous Greenbrier Resort Hotel. He was a 4th generation employee there and had the distinct pleasure to work in almost every facet of this grand resort. He is a 1989 graduate of Concord University with a degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Business Administration

His career has included stints in Rock Resorts (Jackson Hole, Wyoming, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Hawaii) during the Greenbrier Resort management acquisition in the late 80s’ early 90s’. He opened hotels in Santa Fe, New Mexico along with developing private clubs in Boca Grande, Florida, Hilton Head, South Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina.

He was also on the Executive Team developing Windsor and Orchid Island in Vero Beach, Florida. Out-of-country projects include: The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Bermuda, and Ireland.

Kevin currently serves on the following organizations:

Gene Paul Stifter, Senior Advisor & Partner 

By focusing on leadership, mentoring and team building, Gene Paul has put his education to good use. Over the years Gene Paul’s strengths have garnered some recognition including Bath and Tennis Club of Palm Beach being awarded the Ballinger Award for it’s historic renovation under his supervision and guidance. He has been recognized by his peers, earned the distinction of Certified Club Manager and Certified Club Executive. It is the positive outcome of his efforts that makes him passionate about his work.

Gene has spent 50-plus years in the hospitality industry including over 30 in the private Club arena, most recently as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Bath and Tennis Club in Palm Beach, FL.

He has also been the General Manager, and COO of both Addison Reserve CC in Delray Beach, FL and Boca Lago CC in Boca Raton, FL.

Prior to moving to Florida in 1986 he learned the restaurant business in his family-owned party house and went on to own and operate his own successful restaurant and party house in Rochester, NY.

He currently serves on the following:

• Hospitality Advisory Board, Palm Beach State College

• Treasurer, Grandma’s Place, a non-profit home for abused or abandoned children and respite care facility.

Stephen Viggiano, Senior Advisor & Partner

• Extensive experience in inventory/quality control and restaurant/kitchen management systems.
• Strong ability to monitor food costs and payroll.
• Comprehensive educational background with demonstrated ability at implementing procedures to achieve organizational objectives.
• Innovative and creative problem-solver with strong event planning and daily operation management experience.
• Strong financial strategies, working on and maintaining budgets.
• Experience in the renovation and new construction of BOH and kitchens to maximize space and productivity.
• Excellent interpersonal and staff management skills allow the development of strong rapport with individuals at all levels.
