Our Principal

Craig Martin served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of St. Andrews Country Club from 2007 until 2019 when he retired to launch Club Leaders Group. He is a 40-year veteran in the hospitality industry whose diverse professional background includes several world-class five-star resorts, hotels, private clubs, residential developments, and real estate projects.

In 2011 Craig received the CMAA Leadership Award and the General Manager’s Award from Distinguished Clubs and Boardroom Magazine and was recognized by his peers with the Florida Chapter Most Valued Member Award in 2010. His background also includes: The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, a two-time Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award recipient; The Greenbrier Resort; and Hyatt Hotels.

Experience

  • He served the Club Managers Association of America and earned the distinguished Certified Club Management, C.C.M. designation in 2005.
  • He served on various national CMAA boards and committees including CMAA Club Foundation National Strategic Planning Committee.
  • He has served also as Florida Chapter Board member, South Florida Regional Director, Chairman of the Legislative Committee for the Florida Chapter, Co-Chaired the Seminole Region Charity Golf Tournament for three years benefiting children’s charities and multiple CMAA national committees including, Club Premier Club Services and Certification and the CMAA Club Championship Golf Committee.
  • He has served on national club industry panels and is recognized by Forum Magazine as one of the most respected club professionals in the industry.
